Terms and Conditions

I hope you enjoy your bakes from Little Goat Bakery.  The following information may be useful in transporting, storage, food safety and allergens.

By paying your initial payment for your bake you are agreeing in full to the terms and conditions.

Allergens

Please let Little Goat Bakery know if you, or anyone eating the bakes are purchasing from Little Goat Bakery have any allergies.  As I bake in a domestic kitchen where all allergens are present, I cannot guarantee that there is no risk of cross-contamination.

Nuts – majority of my bakes do not include nuts unless they are specifically chosen.  However I do use nuts in my kitchen so certain bakery items I use have a ‘may contain traces on nuts’ on them.

Soya

Sulphur dioxide

A list of ingredients and allergens will be attached to your bake when you collect it. 

Payment

An initial non-refundable payment of 50%  of the total cost quoted is required within 7 days of agreeing to the order with the remaining 50% of the order due 7 days before the order date. 

If this is not received, unfortunately I shall not be able to bake and decorate your bake.

Delivery and transport

Once bakes have been delivered, Little Goat Bakery no longer bears responsibility for the bake and we ask you to follow the following care suggestions:

Bakes should always be carried level with your hands under the box to support it.

If you have opted to collect the bake from Little Goat Bakery then please transport it on a flat surface e.g. in the boot of the car or in the footwell.  Make sure it is secure and nothing can fall on it.  Please do not carry it in your lap or place on a car seat.  Please drive slowly with care and try not to brake suddenly.  If it is a very hot day please ensure the air conditioning is on in the car and it is as cool as possible.  Little Goat Bakery bears no responsibility for any damage to bakes once they leave the care of Little Goat Bakery.

Care of the bakes

Little Goat Bakery bears no responsibility for any damage to bakes if not stored correctly. 

Care instructions will be attached to the bakes on delivery.  Brownie bakes should be kept refrigerated in an air tight container to keep their freshness.  A use-by date will be on the box and Little Goat Bakery  bears no responsibility for the freshness or taste of the bake if eaten after this date.

Cancellation

If you have to cancel your order, initial payments are non-refundable.

In the unlikely event that Little Goat Bakery needs to cancel an order, you will be given as much notice as possible and any payment made will be returned as soon as possible.

Changes to the order

Any changes to the order need to be made at least 2 weeks before the bake is due and it may incur extra charges, of which you will be made aware.

Photographs

Little Goat Bakery reserves the right to photograph bakes and use them for advertising and promotional purposes.

Returns
Due to the perishable nature of our products, we are unable to accept returns or exchanges. However, if there is an issue of any sort with your order, please get in touch as soon as possible and we will do our best to resolve it.
